For the contest, I depicted a recurring nightmare I used to have when I was really little. Like, whenever I was sick or away from home or just miserable in general. It was . . . kind of an abstract nightmare though. SO. I used symbolisisimation.

I can't describe exactly the dream -- but it related to me being devoured inside out, I think. Just not. Like. Graphically, or even physically. There was this Thing, represented here by the dragon, that ate up what may have been . . . my soul? Lol. That's represented by the ice cream my little Loo there is holding.

So. YAY. Maybe you don't get my nightmare, but I think I represented it pretty well. And it scared the bejeebus out of me when I was little, simple as it was. And another thing: my younger sister used to have the exact same dream :\

MAYBE IT'S A DREAM EVERYONE HAS? gaaaaaaasp I doubt it.

Anyway. Yeah. Enjoy, or not.

I like it, though I can understand why your dream would be hard to make a piece of unless you used symbolism... And the title is full of win >.<
Can't say I've had that dream before, though I've had some really weird ones...

Wow, Nightmares, one of my favorite subjects to talk about.

I've never had a dream like yours, but it seems very interesting and frightening, my most reocurring nightmares when I was a kid being about common horror things like dead people coming back to life on an endless night, for example, but I also had a very weird one about me on top of a huge pole, which broke at the base and fell on top of a big house. The frightening part was the fall, it took forever :shrug:

I think your drawing represents the nighmare very well, and it's pretty cool too. maybe you should try to search for it's meaning. :plotting:

Another main aspect of the nightmare that I didn't care to mention was a heartbeat. Most likely mine, in my head. [It was very sound-based, for a dream, and what you could see wasn't definative. There was white, and it pulsed with my heartbeat, and then it was just . . . devoured by ickyscreamybrowngloppyslop.] So maybe that's relevant?

I haven't had that dream in years, and it still gives me chills to think of it. It's indescribable how horrible it is.

Your nightmares suck too XDD I've had a few nightmares like the pole one, where the fall lasted forever. And then some similar, but different. Like one where I was in trouble, about to be killed or something, and I'd be screaming, but making no sound. And when I tried to run, I'd be going through invisible molasses. Suckysucksuck.

Yeah, I know how it feels to dream that you run away from something but can't get away from it.

About the only nightmares i've had recently are about me stealing something or commiting an otherwise small felony, and a motherload of police officers chasing me. I even got chased by both batman and the joker on one, maybe because I haven't seen the dark knight? :'D...
